The Four D'S
Dyslexia, Dysgraphia,
Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia

When you think that someone you know may have Dyslexia it can be
difficult to figure out what the next step should be.  Many of us,
myself included have an image of what we think is involved with this
disorder.  It is much more complex and affects much more than a
reversal of a few letters. I have found that it is often combined with
one of the other "D's" on this site, including dysgraphia, dyscalculia
and dyspraxia.

Some view Dyslexia as a disability, when  it can become a true gift
when help is available.  In the movie "For the Love of the Game," the
main character goes into the "zone."  This is part of the gift that
Dyslexics have that allows them to accomplish what many of us
cannot. There are many more informational sites than listed on here.
This page is designed to give a starting point for the four D's.

(
Audio books are a great way for many Dyslexics to keep up with
reading in the classroom.)
