We will be doing Literature Groups several times during the year in place of individual independent reading. Students
self-select their books and groups will be based on their Book Level zones from Accelerated Reader testing.  Reading will
be done in the classroom and at home.  Students will have two weeks to complete their reading and journals.

Literature Group Directions

Book List

All Students will be required to complete the activities in their Literature Group packets as they read.  There will be
Creativity Activities and an Extension Project for each round of reading. All students will be expected to participate and
complete journals on a daily basis.
